We’re here this week on sunny Catalina Island. Just 23 miles off the coast of Long Beach, California and a fast 45 minute, high-speed ferry ride, Catalina Island feels like it’s worlds away from “civilization”. The majestic and iconic Casino stands sentry over the entrance of Avalon Harbor, watching over fun-seekers, yachts and sailboats that dot the bay.

The island offers a number of dining options, excursions by land and sea and even some fun golf. Check out the public 9 hole Catalina Island Visitors Golf Course for a scenic 9 holes on a classic course.
